Forty new dilemmas: bodies, ballots and the moon
Thirty new dilemmas for every founder, and ten consequences that come back for the companies that earned them. Insure your staff without telling them, buy the town's fire brigade and sell it back by subscription, write a law, televise the layoffs, short your own stock, or buy a country. Sergei gets four of his own about the products his customers can't stop paying for. Some choices now cost you more than money: a person handed over, a colleague who leaves the story for good, a journalist you bought the paper to silence.

Steam Input support: button prompts match your controller
With Steam running, on-screen prompts show the buttons on the controller you're holding (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, Steam Deck or Steam Controller), and follow any remap. Settings has a new Edit Controls button that opens Steam's controller configuration.
-
A new tag: Food
Food is the eleventh tag: anything that is food or drink, or that cooks, keeps or sells it. Nineteen cards already on the shelves carry it now, from Pizza Party and Free Lunch to the Vending Machine, Coffee Machine, Food Truck and Mom & Pop's Kitchen, Restaurant and Farm. People never carry it, and neither do the puns: Cooking the Books and Spaghetti Code stay as they were.
-
A full Settings screen: tabs for gameplay, audio, display, controls, accessibility, privacy, account and about
Settings is now its own screen, styled as the company's policy binder, with an explanation and default for every option. New options include display mode, resolution, VSync and a frame rate limit; a UI sounds volume; mute in background; reduced dynamic range; button prompt style (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo); hold-to-sell and touch timings; tooltip delay; short year openings; pausing battles while inspecting a card; separate screen shake, flash and camera movement controls under Reduce motion; and color modes for color vision deficiency. The pause menu is shorter and keeps the volume sliders.

Four new founders on the roster, coming soon
Lydia the Hacker, Elias the Landlord, Hana the Restaurateur and Marcy the Fashion Designer join the CEO roster, marked COMING SOON. Pick one to see every card and Policy they'll bring. From now on their cards, Policies, shops and dilemmas are theirs alone, so they no longer turn up in other founders' runs. Hacker for Hire, Back of House and The Showroom go with their founders. City Hall gains five shared cards to make up the difference: Loophole Lawyer, Paper Shredder, Filing Cabinet, Licensing Deal and In Triplicate. Scrappy's Social Engineering moves to the Hackerspace.
-
A new Executive Dossier: your company's culture, at a glance
Click your portrait to open the rebuilt dossier. It no longer repeats the header: it shows what kind of company you run, and four bars for Morale, Community, Heat and your own Wealth that slide up or down as your decisions move them. A dot on your portrait means something changed since you last looked. The dossier also charts your Valuation year by year and keeps a record of the dilemmas you've answered, and each dilemma's outcome now says what it did to your company's culture.
-
Founder outlets: buy any founder's cards
Every founder now has an outlet that sells their own cards to everyone else, at a 5% markup: Scrappy's Spare Room, Mom & Pop's Stockroom, Sergei's Skunkworks, The Baron's Vault, Lydia's Dead Drop, Elias's Listings, Hana's Back Door and Marcy's Archive. They turn up like any other shop, in any Year, for every founder except the one whose cards they sell. Baron can finally pick up Sergei's Machines, and the four upcoming founders' outlets are a preview: their cards are on sale to everyone before the founders themselves arrive.
-
Your company's standing is on the record
Morale, Community, Heat and the founder's own Wealth now show on every dilemma option that moves them, and as bars in the company dossier. When the union shows up in Year 5, you'll have watched it coming.

Hana, Marcy, Lydia, +1 more
-
Hana
— Classically trained, always angry. The dishes sell out by the dinner rush unless the line keeps restocking them, and the line gets fired anyway.
-
Marcy
— A garment is worth what the room thinks it is worth, this season. She sells image, wears every outfit out, and eliminates her own cast without blinking.
-
Lydia
— Never invited, always in. Starts with someone already watching, and a pool of jailbroken rigs and stolen Machines that hit hard and make a mess.
-
Elias
— Forty buildings, none of them fixed. A fortune in Property and a charge on every door, so every building bought makes the rent land harder.

The Whistleblower: walking them out now pays
In The Whistleblower, choosing "Walk them out of the building" now also makes one of your assets Litigious (it applies 1 Scandal to the rival each time it acts, or once at battle start on an asset that never acts), on top of the Heat and Morale hit. Every answer in every dilemma now gives you something.

New event: Asset or Liability?
From Year 3, JB the finfluencer is back with a financial literacy check: is your house an asset or a liability? Call it an asset and he mocks you while handing you a random Property. Give his answer for 30 Funding, or ask him the same question about his rented Lamborghini.
-
Three more run-ins with JB the finfluencer
JB the finfluencer now has three more street-corner quizzes, and every answer pays something:
- The 4 AM Club (from Year 2): what time do you wake up? Sleep until seven and an asset of your choice goes Unionized while Morale rises. Join the 4:30 club for Hustle Culture at a cost to Morale. Or ask when *he* wakes up, for 3 XP.
- Good Debt (from Year 3): do you use your own money? Paying cash earns 25 Valuation. Levering up earns 50 Funding and makes one of your assets Leveraged. Asking who paid for the Lamborghini earns 3 XP.
- Seven Streams (from Year 4): how many streams of income do you have? One gets you 35 Funding, seven gets you a random small Scheme, and asking about his gets you a Blockchain-Enabled asset.
-
New asset: Stonks
Stonks (Rare, 1 slot): Profit 1, then doubles its own Profit every time it acts. Upgrades make it act faster: 5s, 4s, 3s, then 2s at the top Tier. It starts at a penny and goes to the moon if the fight lasts. Find it at the Venture Floor and the Night Shift.
From Year 2, JB the finfluencer may stop you with a bonus round, The Penny Problem: a penny that doubles every day for a month, or a million dollars today? Take the penny and he hands you Stonks.
-
54 Policies for Lydia, Elias, Hana and Marcy
Each upcoming founder gets a dozen or more Policies of their own: rent that compounds and lockouts that pay for Elias, a hotter line and critics' stars for Hana, a wardrobe that pays when it's worn for Marcy, and preventions and leaks for Lydia. Like their cards, their Policies only turn up in their own runs.

The battle briefing no longer repeats after your first fight
Leaving your first fight from the outcome screen's own buttons, or by pressing Space, didn't record that you'd been briefed, so the walkthrough played again on later battles, skirmishes included. It now counts as done once your first fight reaches a result, however you leave it.
-
Abandoned runs no longer appear on the live feed
Abandoning a run from the pause menu filed it on the live feed as a finished, liquidated company. Only runs that end in Domination or Bankruptcy are posted now, and abandoned runs already filed that way have been taken off the feed.
-
Fly in a fully printed certificate
The incorporation certificate now arrives with its founding team, full funding amount, signatures, and notary seal already on the paper. Only the INCORPORATED ink impression appears when the wooden stamp lands. The action panel becomes ready as soon as the paper settles.
-
Bonuses on "for each" cards show on the card, and land once
A bonus to a "for each" number now shows in the card's own text. A Patented Warehouse District used to read "Gain 15 Moat for each asset you have with Stock", with Patented's extra 15 nowhere on it; it now reads "…with Stock, plus 15." The same goes for a bonus from a policy, your CEO or a neighbouring card, such as Sous Chef's +20 Profit on Tasting Menu, which used to show up nowhere. A percentage bonus scales the "for each" number when it comes out whole, and shows beside it when it doesn't: "15 (+25%)".
Cards that describe one hit in one sentence now land as one hit: War Chest, Food Critic, Tech Support Scam, Commission Structure, Collections Agent, Hostile Takeover, Licensing Deal, Loophole Lawyer, FOIA Request, Ad Network, Debt Spiral, Dining Room, Smart Toaster and Fire Marshal. Each used to land as two hits, so a flat bonus such as Offshore's +10 Loss counted twice, and the "for each" half still paid it with nothing to count. Reactions to Loss, such as Commission Structure's, now see one hit from these cards instead of two.
-
Grant asset previews stay above the game UI
Enlarged grant reward cards now appear above the tray and game header instead of being clipped by the scrolling reward area.

Scrollbars match the rest of the game
Every scrolling panel now has the same slim brass scrollbar, in place of the grey bar with arrows: the dossier, dilemmas, briefings, the shop, Settings, the pause menu and the Company Index. The thumb widens when your pointer is on it and brightens while you drag it. On the cream paper of a grant memo it's drawn in ink so it stays visible.
